HISTORY OF THE CHAPTER

 

The El Paso Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants was organized at a meeting of El Paso Certified Public Accountants held at the Hilton Hotel, April 23, 1940.  Guy A. Douglas was elected as Chairman, and Florence Buckner as Secretary-Treasurer for the remainder of the current fiscal year that ended June 30.  A tentative program was outlined for future activities.
